SHF Rituals 2007
This years rituals are a departure from our past offerings at Sacred Harvest Festival. The seekers should attend each ritual with an open heart and a clear intent. The space will cleansed prior to ritual, and not ceremonially in ritual. We have no expectation that many will experience possession, but we will open a doorway to further exploration. This year all our rituals involve movement, sound, and sensory triggers that traditionally aid possession. These are participatory events, not for spectators.
If you have mobility issues, be prepared to arrive early and likely be in the center of things. Children should be of age to fully understand what they are participating in, and choose to be involved. Please attend each morning Tribal meeting to assess participation. We are attempting to do a traditionally very individual and fragile experience, in a large group setting. Please be respectful of other's need for privacy, even within these community rituals. If you need aid at any time, or sense possession, grasp and raise your Tribal token.

Monday August 6:
WELCOME AND DEDICATION
Intent: To welcome our people home.
Description:
Welcome home. Once again we come together tonight to share the sacred harvest, to consecrate our communal fire, and to recognize, and be recognized within, our history. We of Harmony Tribe will gather at the heart chakra at 7:30, and will collect festival participants as we process to the ritual circle. Wherever you are at that time, whatever you are doing, be ready to join us.

PATHWAY TO ONENESS

Intent: To connect to the Divine through a state of oneness.
Description:
We are all connected, that is a basic and essential truth, and in fact, one of the indefinable mysteries. We are connected to each other, to all of creation, and through many levels of existence we connect directly to divinity. The ancients understood these truths intuitively, some of which science is just now beginning to accept. As you join us tonight wear your token, be ready to move yourself into a light trance, and carry with you an intent, to open yourself to the nature of our connection, and to the divine.

Wednesday Night, August 8:
POWER ANIMAL RITUAL
Intent: Connect with an animal ally and walk your path.
Description:
Gather at the heart chakra to sing into trance before the silent procession begins. There will be no human speech until the rituals ending. If your animal identifies with one of the four elements, you will have an opportunity to dance with your kind as we open those portals. Our animal voices will collectively call to spirit. The balance of the experience is a prolonged time to connect with our animal individually, as we circle the fire together.
If you wish to participate in this ritual you should attend the workshop/meditation on Tuesday to identify your animal, and gain an understanding of how this ritual flows. This is a solitary ritual done in a group setting. It is NOT a place to hunt or relate to others exploring their animal.

ENCOUNTERING THE DIVINE
Intent: Dance the Rangoli, speak and chant, and reach beyond.
Description:
Help build the Rangoli space with Penny all day Friday. Then whisper your intent on entering, and dance, chant, sing, drum, and speak as you are called. Visit with an Oracle, and if moved, wear the veil as well.

Intent:
Celebrating the gifts of Divinity. Fill your vessel and those of our community.
Description:
This ritual is all movement and song. Plant the spiritual seeds for the coming year and touch the healing waters. Process from the Heart Chakra.
