Sacred Harvest Festival Work Exchange Policies 2007

Harmony Tribe is able to offer a limited number of full week registration Work Exchange subsidies For the Sacred Harvest Festival in 2007.

Harmony Tribe needs 10-15 people to accomadate the expected Festival size this year. We regret we cannot offer Work Exchange for those who cannot attend the full week or pre-pay (guarantee) their registration. Our fees are still the lowest we've found, and really, saving $10 a week will get you in by saving just a few months. Harmony Tribe like to help those who really need the festival experience and can't quite afford it,...BUT you must demonstrate the willingness to do what it takes!

To receive a Work Exchange subsidy the following criteria must be met:




1. You must register, pay their entrance in advance, and be approved by the Earth Root. Credit cards used for registration WILL BE CHARGED AGAINST. Checks will be deposited. Subsidy positions are not for delayed payment, but rather to receive a refund.
   
   
2. Subsidy people must be at the festival grounds no later than 11am on Sunday, August 6th, 2007, to help with set up and undergo an orientation to their duties. All subsidy people must commit to stay at the festival grounds on Sunday , August 13th, 2007 until 6pm (approx) to assist with tear down.
   
   
3. Subsidy people may work up to 4 hours per day on a rotating schedule they will receive at orientation. There will be time off if enough subsidy registrations come in. Each shift will be checked off by the Root in charge of each job on a time card to be kept with the subsidy person or at the info booth. Time cards must be submitted at the end of the festival tear down to receive their entrance fee refund in the form of a check. There will be a master schedule kept at the info booth.
   
   
4. All subsidy people must report to their scheduled Root on time. If the Root has to chase you down for your subsidy duties, it is quite possible the subsidy will be cancelled. Cancelled = no refund and no further job duties.
   
   
5. All subsidy people will be asked to wear Harmony Tribe arm bands while on duty to identify them as 'working staff' just like Council members.
   
   
6. Subsidized guests duties will be coordinated by the Earth Root and Community Service Volunteer Coordinator.
   
   

To apply for Subsidy Admission to SHF simply add "WANT WORK EXCHANGE" in the "write any message to accompany your registration here:" box on the registration form, and preregister for the appropriate amount.
